Christina, age 6, was in the household of "Gotleib Rosenthal, age 44; Rosanna, age 21; Mary, age 9; Ernestina, age 8; Gottlieb, age 1; & Ernst, age 7 months.
Based on this Census and the previous 1850 Census, which recorded "Gotlip Rosendahl" age 34 and "Ann Rosendahl" age 26, in Addison Township, the conclusion was reached that Christina was probably born in Addison Township, Washington County, Wisconsin (which is about 40 miles north of Milwaukee) and that her mother was probably "Ann" (Ernestine), the first wife of Gottlieb Rosenthal.
