from the Waterville Empire Press 10 Nov 1921 L. E. Kellogg and son C. G. of Orondo were Waterville visitors. Mr. Kellogg was the founder of the Big Bend Empire, the first newspaper in Waterville, and published it for a number of years. He has been living in Wenatchee until just recently when his son took charge of old C. A. Granis fruit ranch at Orondo, which was purchased by the American Fruit Growers. Mr. Kellogg is now staying with his son.
