Farmer and sheep shearer, worked for area farmers. married Marilyn V. Bennett, 5 June 1956. They divorced. Funeral services 25 April 1995, United Methodist Church, Harveyville. Burial Harveyville Cemeetery. Survivors include daughters: Lorene "Renie" Bartee, Osage City; Linda J. Willey, Harveyville; Bonnie Sage, Scranton; Sally E. Davis, Topeka. Son Boyd I.
