Born in Starr Mountain, beloved mother and grandmother, married spouse William C Willis January 1 1948 in Dalton, GA. Married for 70 years, avid horticulturist, she was the middle of two sisters. Her family plot is Conasauga Cemetery in Etowah, TN. She is Survived by two children, Marilyn Willis Heathcote of Pensacola, FL and Larry Joe Willis of Athens, TN. Three grandchildren; Jada M. Leahy MD and Jared R. Heathcote of Pensacola, FL and Talem Willis of Los Angeles, CA. Laycock-Hobbs Mortuary in Athens was in charge of funeral and burial. She was the last one of her generation on all branches of the family.
