His oldest son, David Miley, is not mentioned in a guardian appointment in Shenandoah Co., which names John Rhodes as guardian of the three younger children, Abraham, Barbara and Mary. The widow of Tobias, Barbara Brubaker married 30 July 1794 to Conrad Wakeman, but died sometime before 1799. Found several documents in the county records showing payment to John Roads as guardian of all four of the children of Tobias and Barbara Brubaker Miley. I have no dates for the births of these four children but the marriage records can be found in Shenandoah Co. records. Supposedly the baby Mary was about 3 or 4 when her father Tobias died.
