The Cram Sourcebook says that he died July 16, 1775, but this does not fit with his youngest son being born Dec. 4, 1780 according to the same page of the Cram Sourcebook

A Cram Family History compiled by Dr. Roy S. Cram has his date of death as July 16 or August 6, 1785 in Wilton, New Hampshire. A letter that Weston Cram sent me a copy of says that he died July 16, 1785. The letter also says that Asa was enrolled April 23, 1778 in Captain William Walker's Company, Colonel James Reed's regiment. He was wounded at the battle of Bunker Hill.

Taken from Genealogical outline of the Cram, Walker, and Weekes families by Cram, Charles M. "Asa Cram, who fought at Bunker Hill in Capt. (William) Walker's company, was born in Wilton, N.H., 4 April 1746, the son of John Cram. He was enrolled Apr. 23, 1775 in Capt. Walker's company, was wounded at Bunker Hill, and died July 16, 1775. Four of his brothers were also Revolutionary soldiers."
