BLANKERS, Arnold A., 67 years of age, passed away suddenly in a Bellingham hospital Tuesday afternoon, December 21, (1943). He was born December 2, 1876, in Veen, The Netherlands. The widow, Helena, survives, and also six sons, Bertis, Arnold, Robert, Gerrit, Ernest and Ceger, all of the Lynden district; two daughters, Mrs. Harry Bajema, Lynden, and Mrs. Gladys Cook, Portland; two brothers, L. Blankers, of Lynden and Ceger, of the Netherlands; three sisters, Nellie, Pternella and Marie, all of The Netherlands, and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 24, at 2 p.m., in the First Christian Reformed Church of Lynden, by Rev. D. Hollebeck, under the direction of Knapp & Knapp. Interment will be in Monumenta Cemetery.
