Arlene Ludke April 6, 1927—Nov. 30, 2003.

Arlene Ludke, 76, of Almena, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2003 at Lakeview Medical Center in Rice Lake. She was born April 6, 1927 at Almena, WI to Julius and Edna (Kleinschmidt) Wohlk. She was married at Cumberland on Aug. 21, 1946, to Walter Ludke who preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2003. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce Merle and Vivian Frank.Arlene was a lifetime Almena resident and a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son, Alan Ludke of Almena, one daughter, Judy (Willy) Longhenry of Hillsboro, OR, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Eugene Wohlk.Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Almena with Rev. Norman Peterson officiating. Burial was in St. Matthew Cemetery. Pallbearers were Philip Hockenson, Dave Smith, Dave Ostermann, Lowell Wohlk, Jim Lambert and Calvin Wohlk.
