   The son of Benjamin Jacob Pyburn and Mary Jane Chitty, Archie was married to Plina Pauline McCurdy and had three daughters, Lula Bell Pyburn, Maude Rodell Pyburn and Elizabeth Alyce Pyburn. After his wife left him he was married to Ella Fair with whom he had no children. He later married Hattie Viola Campbell, the daughter of Edward Washington "Wash" Campbell and Elizabeth Hardy. They had three children, Elizabeth Eulene Pyburn, Claire Ruth Pyburn (died as a child), and Carlton Pyburn.
