    Funeral services for Ann Gregg Odom, 80, of Commerce, were conducted Friday, Nov 26, in Pemberton Funeral Home with the Rev Dennis Wilkinson officiating.

    Graveside services were conducted Friday in Gafford Chapel Cemetery.

    Mrs Odom died Wednesday in Commerce.

    She was born Sept 5, 1913 in Hopkins County to Mark Gregg and Julia Kate Henderson. She married Carl Odom in 1937 in Commerce. He survives.

    Mrs Odom attended school in Sulphur Springs and was nursing school graduate. She worked as a nurse in Sulphur Springs prior to moving to Commerce in 1941. There she worked at Leberman Hospital, Oak Manor Nursing Home and as a private duty nurse. She retired in 1973. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

    Other surviors include one daughter, Carol Shaw of Temple; one son, Larry Odom of Sulphur Springs; two sisters, Ezell Miller of Sulphur Springs and Eva Hargrave of Birthright; two brothers, Billy Gregg of Dike and Jimmy Gregg of Rockwall; one half-sister, Mary Ruth Henderson of Richardson; and four grandchildren, Michele Anderson and Glen Odom, both of Sulphur Springs and Chris Shaw and Julie Shaw both of Austin.

    She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Robert and Mack Gregg.
