    Mrs. Nettie Evans, aged 83 years old, died at her home near Coldwater on the farm of Mr. JB Cheatham, following an illness of four years. Mrs. Evans was the mother of nine children, seven of whom are living, of sixty grandchildren and of thirty-five great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev John Stroud at the home. A quartette composed of her grandchildren sang at the funeral service. Burial was at Nebo (now known as New Grove)
