    Allan L. Winter, 65, of Belleville, died Sunday, November 29, 1997 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. He was a pipe fitter; former Vice President of Local No. 101 Pipe Fitters, past President of Tamarack Country Club, ST. Peter's Cathedral, World War II Navy Veteran.

    Preceding him in death were his parents, Fred and Edna, nee Poirot, Winter.

    Surviing are his wife, the former Jane Lee Huber, Winter; three daughters, Cheryl J. Poehler of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Ronald (Kathy) Parres of St. Louis, Mo., Kimberly Winter at home; four grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Poehler and Cynthia and Tracy Parres.

    Funeral procession to leave at 10:45 a.m. from the George Renner and Sons Funeral Home in Belleville to St. Peter's Cathedral for an 11 a.m. Mass. Burial will be in Lake view Memorial Gardens. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer society or Hospice of Southern Illinois. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:30 p.m.Monday at he funeral home.
