Bessie Lowe Haught was my grandmother on my mothers side. Her husband was John Wesley Haught son of Asa and Mary Raber. They had one daughter Ethel Utha which was my mother she married Charles Franklin Ott. He was born 4 24 1904 and died 10 21 1958. He was the son of Jackson Ramsey Utt and Ida Catherine Brewer.

My oldest brother was Charles Edwin Ott born October 2 1932. He married Retha Jean Hiostutler, 2nd Rosemary Phillips, 3rd Jean Rinehart. I was the second child. I was born 12 25 1933, I married Donald Morris and we have six children, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren one of which is deceased.

The third child was Belva Kay Ott, she married Don Parks, they had three children. She was born 9 30 1937 and died Oct. 6 1991. The fourth child was Clyde Lemoyne (Buck) he was born 3 6 1939. He Married Joyce Ann Hughes.

The fifth child was Marlyn Lee and she was born 9 16 1953. She married Donald Barrett. The most of these I knew personally, the others I got from grave stones.

I grew up in Coburn. It was out in the country. My grandmother and Aunt Hollen lived on connecting farms, and my family lived on the farm in front of my grandmothers. My parents and grandparents had a country store so we knew everyone. Bessie, Hollen and Myrtle had a brother named David he never married. I live in Laurel, Maryland now. Avis Dale Ott Morris

Avis emailed me again August 9, 2006 (At age 72) I saw on the internet that you had some information on Grandmother Lowe's people. Her name was Rachel Lee Higginbotham. She married John Westley Lowe. I would appreciate any information on their ancestors you might have. The only information I have is her father was James Higginbotham and her mother was Mahalia Willey. Thank You, Avis Morris Ott
