Source: Records of the Methodist Episcopal Church, New York, NY, NYPL Call No. *R-USLHG *ZI-1243, Reel 2. In this Bedford Street Church Marriage Register, page 18, witnesses to Mary Ann's marriage are listed as Thos Taber and Eliza Linthwait. As Thomas Taber, Sr had passed away on 9 April 1842, this Thos Taber could only be Mary Ann's oldest brother, Thomas Taber. Eliza Linthwait was her older sister. However, Mary Ann's marriage certificate was signed by two of her other brothers, William Taber and Alexander Taber. Siblings, James, Henry, and Susan, and mother, Susan are not documented at this event.
