Image was sent to RC by daughter of Vernon Kill. Mildred Savidge, her grandmother, is the adult on the motorcycle and Mildred's niece, Ruby Reynolds, is the little girl. The picture was taken on West Union Road and one can see the farm house and barn of Mildred's parents, Samuel and Nettie Savidge, in the background. Mildred's sister, Emma "Gladys" lived around the corner on Kill Road with her husband, Edward, and their family. Ruby was their first born. Ruby and her siblings walked across the fields to their grandparents' home on a regular basis (as told by Ruby's sister, Violet to RC).
