1. Huldiging van den heer A. Voogd, vice-voorzitter en penningmeester van den Ned. Journalistenkring, bij zijn 35-jarig jubileum als journalist.

1. Bij Kon. Besluit van dezen datum zijn benoemd: tot voorzitter van den militieraad in het tweede militie-district van Zuid-Holland mr. J.A. van der Lee, advocaat en procureur te Rotterdam en tot zijn plaatsvervanger mr. N.J.E. de Voogt, oud-hoofdambtenaar ter gemeentesecretarie.

3. De Pruisische Staatsregeering verleent aan den kapitein-commandant van het landstormkorps Rotterdam, H.C. van Capelle, de Roode Kruismedaille 3de klasse.

4. De meesterknecht Jan van Bommel is 40 jaar in dienst bij de firma J.F. Engel en Zoon.

4. Stoomtrambotsing aan den Dordtschen Straatweg.

4. Bij Kon. Besluit van dezen datum is benoemd tot directeur van het Centraal Bureau van voorbereiding voor ambtenaarszaken te ’s-Gravenhage mr. dr. J. Donner, thans hoofdambtenaar ter secretarie te Rotterdam.

5. Bij Kon. Besluit van dezen datum is, met ingang van 16 dezer, benoemd tot secretaris van den Armenraad te Rotterdam mr. A.K.S. Pastor, alhier.

5. Het Regeeringsbesluit betreffende de voorlopige salarisregeling voor de posterijen en telegrafie verwekt onder het personeel groote beroering en geeft aanleiding tot betoogingen voor het hoofdpostkantoor alhier, waarbij men tot staking aanspoort.

7. De Raad neemt het voorstel van B.en W. betreffende verdere ontgraving van de Waalhaven aan.
