Watchers

Since everyone is dressed alike these two pictures were certainly taken on the same day. They baby in the top picture is Raymond’s daughter Lois, held by her mother Hilda. Lois looks to be three or four months old so the pictures must have been taken in 1930, perhaps at her christening.

Hilda and Raymond follow Abraham and Alice in the 1930 census. They lived in the same building or next door.

Picture 1 - Abe Alice & Ray

This is clearly Raymond, Abraham and Alice again. The fourth person is unknown. It can’t be either Edgar or Hobert as they died before 1930. It could Herman, or Clarence. Since it seems to be a family picture the best guess is Herman. He does look a bit like the picture of Herman below, minus the glasses. It could also be one of Ray's friends.

Picture 2 - Abe & Alice Plus

Abraham is standing in the back between Hilda and Raymond. It is unclear who the other folks are. Perhaps one of the ladies on the left is Alice’s daughter, Raymond’s half-sister Lucy.
