This is from a set of two pictures. Charles is dressed the same way in both. The cars are similar. They are late 40s era cars.

Sophie is being carried by son-in-law Charles Black, husband of her youngest daughter Charlotte. Sophie died in March 1952 from Cancer. She appears very frail in this picture. There are leaves on the trees and it is warm, so its not likely to be any time in 1952. It's probably late summer 1951.
