This is from a set of three pictures that were taken at the same time. Charlotte's dress is the same in all of them. Charles is wearing the same clothes and two of the pictures are taken in the same wooded place.
Picture 1 - Charles & Charlotte w Dog
Picture 2 - Charlotte and Lew Jr 1
Picture 3 - Charles & Charlotte; ? Sophie and John

In 1926 they were
Charles Black 27
Charlotte Becker Black 20
Lewis Russell Ahner Jr 5
Sophie Polkow Becker 56
John Becker 53

Charlotte appears to be pregnant. Agnes was stillborn in March 1927. Charles was born if Feb 1929. Lew Jr was born in March 1921. He can't be more than five in the picture so Charlotte must be pregnant with Agnes. Since they are wearing just clothes it's still warm. Leaves are still on the trees. If Charlotte is four to five months pregnant, then its late summer 1926, probably early October.
John Becker died in Dec 1926, so this picture can't be any later than that date.

Having said all that, I wonder if this is truly Charles and Charlotte. The writing on the back of the pictures identified them, everything lines up with the facts, but it just doesn't look like her.
