    Note: Martin Penner had moved from Rosenort GW to Brodsack in 1790 and in 1792 was living at Danzig. He may have moved to Danzig as a preparation for the move to Russia. Due to his age he gave his homestead to his son-in-law Bernhard Bergen (see [Chortitza II.2]). Martin Penner was a son of Johann Penner of Tiegenhagen.'
