    BRISCOE - The death of Mrs. Matilda Augusta (Tillie) Briscoe age 77 years, of 309 25th Street W., Saskatoon occurred in a local hospital onJanuary 3rd, 1971. The funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8th at 1:30 p.m. from First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. William R.Wood. (In lieu of flowers, donations to the Saskatchewan Heart Fund, 511 Canada Building, Saskatoon would be appreciated). Surviving are: her loving husband, Reuben; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Horner (Joy) of Blaine Lake; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; two sisters: Mrs. J. G. Kuehl and Mrs. Samuel Henderson, both of Killaloe, Ontario. She was predeceased by a son, Ted in 1942. Mrs. Briscoe was born in Killaloe and came west to Wiseton where she homesteaded with her husband and continued to farm in the district until 1926. For the past 44 years she had resided in Saskatoon. Mrs. Briscoe was a member of First Baptist Church and was active in Mission Circles. She had been a member of the Walter Murray Chapter of I.O.D.E. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Saskatoon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
