James was a Revolutionary War veteran, and his pension application is the core of this site. There are source documents, both transcribed and/or scanned, including the Fulton family Bible, Anastasia Fullton's will, and the Revolutionary pension papers. Anastasia was a well-known local potter. The family had nine children, seven of whom left descendants.
