Inline Citations [4 November 2013]

These are horrible choices for inline citations. How many dozens or even hundreds of books were put out by NEHGS in 1909? If these type of abbreviations are allowed, something more intuitive and less likely to conflict within the overall universe of genealogical works, like ScituateVRs, or something similar would be far better. --Jrich 22:53, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

I realize you are unfamiliar with this approach. It doesn't matter how many NEHGS citations in 1909 there were. They can all fit into that framework. And before you get too terribly upet over this, remember that the form being used has Dallan's approval. Q 00:02, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

I'm also having trouble finding where it was approved/established. Can you provide a link? All my recollections of discussions on this matter, the practice was frowned on as a whole, much less having picked a method. --Jrich 01:07, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
