Usage Tips

Volume 1 encompasses all the manuscript holdings of the College of Arms. It is divided into two subseries, Records (official registers of the College's work which in cludes visitations and funerals) and Collections (earliest manuscript holdings). There is both an appendix and an index for ease of use. You also may find the College of Arms website helpful at http://www.college-of-arms.gov.uk.
