Deighton is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England. It is about 6 miles north of Northallerton and near the A167 road.
Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Deighton was located in Northallerton Rural District. Historically, it was a chapelry in the ancient parish of Northallerton in the Allerton Wapentake. It was in the Northallerton Registration District. Template:North Riding Research Tips
