Births and baptisms [12 March 2020]

It is always possible that a birth may not take place in the same parish as a baptism/christening. If you have found a baptism in a parish record (or in a listing of parish records provided by the LDS or a commercial organization), you should enter the parish in which the baptism occurred as well as the date.

If you do not know the exact date of the birth, there is no need to enter anything in the birth line. The baptism will be recorded in WeRelate, giving other users an idea of where the family lived in the baptismal year.
