From John Alexander (33): Are John Alexander 'the father' and John Alexander 'the son' the same person? [3 August 2013]

There is scant on this family in geneological works. The biggest mention I have found is in the history of Deerfield, which accepts that the John Alexander who married Beatrice _________ was the son of another man named John Alexander. But I noticed that in New England Marriages Prior to 1700, it calls 'the father' of this man 'doubtful', making me wonder if the earlier John Alexander is not the same man.
