I'm not 100% sure that "Washington" is George Vest's middle name, though it is possible. Though George was born before the Revolution, by 1755, Washington was still regarded as a hero in Virginia for his role in the French & Indian War ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Washington_in_the_French_and_Indian_War ).--Rvest 19:48, 1 July 2009 (EDT)
