The birth record for Christian Nielsen in Brylle, Odense, Denmark, 3Jan1669 shows his father as Niels Rasmussen of Leipzig. However, the Niels Rasmussen(19) in our tree is from Render. Trying to force Niels Rasmussen(19) and Karen Rasmusdotter(1) into the family line has resulted in some inconsistencies notably her young age at the births of some of her assumed children. Unfortunately, I don't think there are records for Leipzig, Germany that go back far enough to do any good.
