Des Moines Register - Mrs. Kay Dies; Funeral Friday: Mrs. Zylpha I. Kay, 71, of 3015 Oxford St., died of cancer Thursday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital, following a years illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday at the Hamilton Funeral Home, with burial at McCook, Nebraska.

A native of Seymour, Mrs. Kay lived at McCook before coming to Des Moines six years ago. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bumpas of Savannah, GA, and Mrs. Lois Gassaway of Des Moines; a son, William E. Kay of Galesburg, IL; two sisters, Patti Larson and C. A. Snider, both of Big Piney, WY; two brothers, Robert Gunter of Big Piney, and Ralph Gunter of Clareton, WY, and eight grandchildren
