Notes Married his cousin while on a trip from Augusta Co, the dau of Robert Cravens, Sr & Mary Harrison. Rev Timothy Jones lst pastor of the lst Presbyterian Ch of Morristown officiating.

He settled on Smith's Creek near his father and patented land 814 acres. Rev War support for furnishing supplies horses, cattle, corn, hay , rations, etc.

A pillar in the early Smith's and Linville Creek Baptist Church. His wife , Margaret Cravens Harrison, mentioned in church 1795 church records.

    Zebulon Harrison was born about 1718 in Smithtown Long Island, New York and moved to Augusta, (Now Rockingham County Virginia in 1737, where he died in 1792. He was the son of John Harrison and his wife, Phoebe, and the Grandson of Isaiah Harrison and his first wife Elizabeth Wright. (see Vol. II, No.4 Harrison Heritage).

    Zebulon Married his cousin, a young widow Margaret Cravens Primrose while he was on a trip from Augusta Co. to Morristown, New Jersey. The marriage took place on July 23, 1747. Margaret was the daughter of Captain Robert Cravens, Sr. and his wife Mary Harrison Cravens, Margaret was born about 1724 and died 1800.

    Zebulon and Margaret settled on Smith Creek near his father and patented 814 acres of land.
    During the Revolutionary War they furnished supplies to the American Army including horses, cattle, corn, hay and food.

    Like the Harrisons before him, he was a pillar in the Baptist Church, both at Smith's and Linville Creek. Zebulon and Margaret are both buried in the old unmarked burial ground, near Lacey Springs, Rockingham Co. Virginia.

    Zebulon and Margaret had 11 children.

    1) Phoebe Ann Harrison (1748-1778) married James Dyer
    2) John Harrison (1749-1803) Married Hannah Lincoln daughter of John Lincoln, and Great Aunt to President Lincoln.
    3) Zebulon Harrison Jr. (1751-1811) Married daughter of William Young.
    4) Josiah Harrison (1757-1822) married Margaret Miller
    5) Polly Harrison (1760-1830) married Robert Harrison (Son of Benjamin Harrison).
    6) Gideon Harrison (1762-1797) married Mary Jane Brian.
    7) Margaret Harrison (1765-1830) married Jeremiah Cravens
    8) Major Reuben Harrison (1775-1838)
    9 Neomia Harrison (1780-1855) married Zebulon Dyer.
