ILLNESS IS FATAL TO VETERAN OF WORLD WAR

William Robert Kennedy of Mechanicsburg Dies at His Home Wednesday

MECHANICSBURG, O., Jan. 24 - William Robert Kennedy, 34, World War veteran, died at his home in Mechanicsburg at 2 p.m. Wednesday, following a lengthy illness.

He served with the 34th regiment, 148th Infantry during the World War. He saw 11 months' service overseas. His death is said to have been caused by diabetes.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Bessie Kennedy, he is survived by two sons, William Richard, and Paul; his father, John Kennedy; one sister, Mrs. Mack Henninger, and a brother, Harry Kennedy of South Vienna.

Funeral services will be held at the Medhanicsburg M. E. Church at 2 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be made in Maple Grove cemetery.
