Information from “Virginia/West Virginia Genealogical Data from Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Records”, Vol. 2, compiled by Patrick G. Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. :

Hutchison, William - born 1757 in Augusta County, Virginia; entered service 1776 in Greenbrier County (area later Monroe County), Virginia where resided; applied for Pension 1736 in latter County, & Pension Application Rejected, insufficient proof of service in regulary [sic, s/c regular] constituted military unit; query letter in file 1919 from agent for soldier's descendant Mr. Buford Bond of Oklahoma. F-R5457, R1385.
