2. In 1900 US Census for Prairie Creek Twp., Dubuque Co., IA, informant says couple was married for 22 years, or about 1878.
3. The Butte City Directory for 1902 shows a William F. Drummey residing at 1041 S. Wyoming St.; this is the address of Charles and Mayme Shewe. Most likely this is Mayme's brother , not the son of John and Johanna.
4. William and Harriett ranched north of Dillon on Anderson Lane. They moved into town about 1918. Harriett maintained a maternity home in Dillon for many years.
5. Drummy School District #29 was created in September 1904. It operated from 1905 to 1938. The first term of about 3 months in 1905 was taught by Elizabeth Drummy, salary $50 a month.
