XVIII. William, only son of Magdalene, heiress of Blair, and undoubted representative of that ancient family. He made a settlement of that whole estate, (failing heirs of his own body) upon the children of his father’s second marriage, above narrated; and, daying without issue, anno 1732, was accordingly succeeded by his eldest brother consanguinean, before-mentioned, viz.
