Biography

NOTE: Two census reports show birth 1823, two show 1832. All things considered, 1832 probably correct. Civil War records show he was age "28" on enlistment, mustering rolls, and discharge. "Rode" with Marlow Gang (Movie "Sons of Katie Elder" w/John Wayne based on Marlow Gang) in Okla/Texas. Town Marshal Gunnison, CO 1899-1900; Delta Co. CO pioneer 1900. One child not listed below is: Francis C. born circa 1860 died circa 1873. "Family History" tells of Sarah and Theo. having 13 children. However only 9 have been documented. Second spouse: Mary L. Powers, born Aug 18, 1863, Lebanon, Ky., married at Delta, CO May 17, 1910
