    Stephen WIBLE (b 1775) was confirmed as an adult at Emanuel (Baust's) Church, Frederick County (now Carroll County) MD 24 May 1795. The entry also states that he is married. In order to be confirmed, he had to first be baptized, but I have never found any baptismal records for any of the children of Stephen b1742.

    The will of Steffen WIBLE (written 8/18/1814; codicil 2/14/1815; probate 4/10/1815), Straban Twp, Adams Co PA names his wife Mary and the following children: Steffen, John, Joseph, David, Elizabeth, Mary. This Stephen married Anna Maria Magdalena TROXELL (Mary), the daugher of David TROXELL. Their children: Stephen, b 1798, d Aug 1844, Straban Twp, Adams Co PA, mar Julian ---, no issue; John, b 1800; d 1857 in Adams Co PA, was an ordained Lutheran Minister, mar Elisabeth STALLSMITH. no issue; Joseph, b 1805, d 1882, was an attorney, mar Rebecca BOYER (1805-1876), the dau of Frederick BOYER. Both Joseph and Rebecca are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, Adams Co PA. David, died before 1839 ? - he is not named with the other children of Stephen in the will ofhis grandfather, David TROXELL. Elisabeth, b c1810, was the 3rd wife of Nicholas George BOYER, the son of Frederick BOYER and the brother of Rebecca BOYER (above); lived in Straban Twp, Adams Co PA; both buried in Evergreen Cemetery. Mary Magdalena (Polly), b 1808, d 1864, mar Henry DOTTERER.
