Unfortunately very little information is known about this ancestor of "White Creek" and "Carlo-H. Mayer". The (USA) family tradition was that Sophie lived in "Westphalia", but apparently she was actually a citizen of Schaumburg-Lippe.

Her daughters, Christina (Lohmeier) Prange, and Sophia W. (Lohmeier) Busking, are buried in Indianapolis, Indiana USA, in the Concordia Cemetery. Fuehring is a very uncommon name, but there are a few of them buried in the same cemetery. A link between them has never been found. See the WeRelate page for the brother (Anthony Prange) of Sophie's son-in-law, Karl (Charles) Prange. On Anthony's page, is a picture of adjacent plots in the same Concordia Cemetery of his Prange family, and an unknown FUEHRING family. Since the Fuehring family surname is very rare, these adjacent families must be related - somehow!
