Parents unknown in genealogical sources, but in Presbyterianism in Princeton, Indiana, 1810-1930 by her son-in-law, Robert Archer Woods, he mentions in footnote 18 the donors of the Memorial Windows for the rebuilt church: The South "in memory of John and Anna Wise Lagow, by their daughter, Mrs. Sarah Lagow Hall." He also mentions that once "the debts were all paid, and a "note burning" was held, to which the honor of setting fire to the notes was granted to Mrs. John B. (Sarah Lagow) Hall, as she had been a member of the church longer than any other person then living. (1894).
