    Samuel White was in Sandwich as early as 20 May 1667 when Maj. Joshiah Winslow of Marshfield, half brother of Samuel's father, deeded "for love and good will to my kinsman Samuel White now of Sandwich." He was still in Sandwich 8 June 1671 when he and his wife Rebecca deeded land to Benjamin Church, acknowledged 8 June 1677. In 1679 he was listed as one of the proprietors of Rochester.

    On 17 July 1697 Samuel White Senr of Rochester deeded land in Rochester to son Melatiah White of Rochester.

    Samuel White of Rochester was before the court Sept. 1720, March 1723/4, Dec. 1729 and March 1729/30 for not attending public worship.
