    Robert "Bob" B. Krumrine October 23, 1927 - October 25, 2009 Robert "Bob" B. Krumrine, 82, of Pleasant Gap, died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte. He was born Oct. 23, 1927, on a farm in Benner Township, a son of the late Bruce and Florence Neill Krumrine. He married Donna C. Roush Jan. 1, 1950 who survives at home. In addition to his loving wife of fifty nine years, he is survived by his loving daughter Diane Curry. of St. Petersburg, Fla., and his wonderful grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Curry, of Orlando, Fla. and Allison Curry, of Tampa, Fla.; one sister Betty McGrail, of Pleasant Gap, and many nieces and nephews. Three brothers preceded him in death, James, John and Richard Krumrine Bob graduated from Bellefonte High School in 1946. On September 30, 1946, he accepted a special 18 month assignment with the U. S. Army serving in Italy. He earned a WW II Victory medal and an MTO Occupation medal; receiving his honorable discharge on March 22, 1948. Mr. Krumrine was self employed in the trucking industry, primarily transporting steel along the east coast especially in the New England States. Later as changes occurred in the Steel industry he was involved in the transportation of steel from the pier in Bridgeport, Conn. throughout the north east. Bob was a member of the Pleasant Gap American Legion and the V. F. W. Post 1600 in Bellefonte. His daughter and his grandchildren were his greatest joy, and he was so proud of all their accomplishments. A grave side service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2009 at the Pleasant Gap Cemetery 116 N. Main St. Pleasant Gap, with the Reverend Kevin Shock officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Gap Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Centre Crest Auxiliary Garden Fund, 502 E.
