Robert J. Gaughan, 82, West Fargo passed away Monday, November 8 in his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Robert was born March 10, 1928 in Fargo, ND to T.J. (Thomas Joseph) Gaughan and Blanche Marguerite (Freeman) Gaughan. He graduated from Verona High School in 1946 and attended North Dakota State Agricultural College in Fargo. He married Ruth Marie Weinandt on November 5, 1949. They had eleven children. Robert worked road construction in North Dakota and South Dakota. He owned and operate TriState Mobile Homes from 1957 to 1989. In retirement, he spent winters in Rockport, Texas. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth, daughter, Barbra Johnson, brother, Michael Gaughan, sisters, Margaret Gaughan and Jane Schmid. Robert is survived by his children; Debora (James) Hoffert, Linda (Bill Natvig) Gaughan, Ralph Gaughan, Robert (Bridget) Gaughan Jr., Daniel Gaughan, Cindy (Rush Waite) Gaughan, Joe (Renee) Gaughan, Bruce (Dori) Gaughan, Larry Gaughan, Christine (Eric) Nesheim, sister, Blanche Hansen, and brother, Thomas Gaughan. -
