Information requested on family, friends, neighbors of Robert CROCKET, born 1740 Beverly Manor to Robert Crockett (d. 1746) of cowpasture and Margaret (later wife of John Ramsey). Robert moved with brother Archibald to Anson Co., NC before 1760, married Jennett (?), settled on Long Creek of Mecklenburg County, NC with 6 daughters. Nest neighbor to Robert or perhaps cousin (the Martha of Joseph and Jean Crockett of Augusta)? was Joseph Galbreath of Augusta, brother/son perhaps to John Galbreath of Buffalo Creek.
