Obituary from McKeesport Daily News (Apr 18, 1940): "Ruben Sephanovic Sr., 43, of 2329 Fifth Ave., died at his home today at 4:15 a.m. following a six-day illness. He was an ex-serviceman and served as a city patrolman for 10 years. A resident of McKeesport for 40 years, he was employed at the Firth Sterling Steel Co. He was a member of St. Sava's Serbian Orthodox Church and St. Sava's Lodge No. 1. He is survived by his wife, Helen, and the following children, Anna Mae, Charlotte and Ruben Jr. Also surviving are his mother, Mrs. Michael Terbovich, of McKeesport, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Daniel Yonic, Anna Stephanovic, and Louise and Diana Terbovich, Raymond, William, Daniel and Michael, all of McKeesport, and Nick Stephanovic, of Clairton. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Sava's Church with the Rev. Milan Popovich in charge. Burial will be in Versailles Cemetery." Fought in World War I.
