Reppy Bell RHODES Reppy Belle Rhodes was a retired school teacher having taught in the Caddo Parish schools from 1922 to 1963' and including 32 years at Byrd High School. She held the bachelor's degree from Northwestern State University, and the master's degree from the University of Texas. Miss Rhodes was a member of Delta Chapter of Alpha Kappa, honorary teachers sorority; Magnolia Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star and the Womens Department Club. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Shreveport. Survivors are one brother James A. Rhodes of New Iberia, and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Old Cedron Cemetery near Vowells Mill. Pallbearers will be Charles Ravenna, Wayne Hollingsworth, Jonathan Wallace, Ford Wallace Jr., Richard V. Muckleroy 111, and Miles Biggs. |
