Obituary

Paul R. Kennedy, 73, of Columbus, died Tuesday (Sept. 10, 2002), at Riverside Methodist Hospitals.

He was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Mechanicsburg, to the late Robert and Bess Kennedy. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict and served 38 months in Germany. Mr. Kennedy was a member of Mechanicsburg United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; son Bob Kennedy of Columbus; brother William R. Kennedy of Mechanicsburg; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sandy and Philip Coolbaugh of Mechanicsburg; niece Shelley and her husband David Pfaub of Columbus; great-nieces Alexis and Alyssa Pfaub; and cousin Patsy Polito of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by his brother, John Kennedy.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville. Additional visiting hours will be held Friday from noon to 2 p.m. at the Skillman-McDonald Funeral Home, 257 W. Main St., Mechanicsburg, followed by funeral services at Maple Grove Cemetery.
