From Maxine Morel:
I came across grandpa and grandma Houser's wedding book (Otto and Ethel). They were married June 7, 1911 in a small town where grandma's father was pastor, and the whole Fred Houser family was invited!! Also, from the Evening Republican, Meadville, I found this little blurb dated Friday, Sept. 3, 1915 - was very hard to read but here goes:
"Carl W. Houser and Miss Grace M. Dunham were married in Cleveland, OH Sept. 2. The ceremony was performed by Rev. O.H. Houser, a cousin of the bridegroom at his house, 2269 E. 36th St." The article goes on to say who the bridesmaids were etc. plus that Carl and Grace resided at 125 Glenwood Avenue, Cleveland. Thought you might be interested in this as you had thought that perhaps there were no family ties with your branch of the Housers. This proves that there were!!!!
