"Aunt Nora" was Grandaddy (Ferdinand B.) McDermott's sister. She and her sister Maime never married. When Aunt Nora visited in Dallas, she was so concerned over the dishes that if you put down your coffee cup you'd come back to find it washed and put away. --It became a family joke in Miriam's family. She's buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetary in Paris, KY.
