  1.   There are several reasons I believe Aden Perkins is NOT the father of Nicholas N. Perkins.

    1) Aden came to Virginia is 1607. Nicholas did not come until 1641.
    2) Nicholas's birthday was in the 1614-1624 range. I don't believe that Aden returned to London, had a child, and left him there.
    3) No Perkins sponsored Nicholas. His sponsor was Bryant Smith.
    4) There is the argument that a Richard Perkins was his father. Richard Parker was his stepfather. The lands that Nicholas later patented appeared to be those of his stepfather, not a father named Richard.
    5) Some sources state Aden's home was Nottinghamshire. Nicholas is shown as either Bedfordshire or Northamptonshire.
