Will

Moses Buchanan wrote his will on January 2nd, 1823. He left wife Margaret the use of the third of the land as well as the use of all of his personal property during her lifetime. At her death it was to go to his son Moses. He also specified 2 tracts of land that were to descend to son Moses. The will was witnessed by James Edmondson and John Reed and proved in court on their oaths on May 20th, 1823. As no executor had been named the court appointed Moses Buchanan [son] as administrator.
